Transform Your Family's Sleep - Without the Overwhelm

If you're reading this, you're probably exhausted. You've tried everything you can find on Google. You've read conflicting advice. You're desperate for sleep but worried about doing the wrong thing. I understand, and I can help. I'm Amy Corrigan, a certified sleep consultant based in County Wicklow, working with tired families across Ireland and internationally. I've helped hundreds of parents just like you move from exhausted and overwhelmed to well-rested and confident. What makes my approach different? I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every child is unique, every family is different, and your sleep plan should reflect that. I work collaboratively with you to create a plan that feels right for your family, respects your parenting choices, and actually works.

SLEEP CHALLENGES I HELP WITH

Common Sleep Problems I Resolve

If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place:

For Babies (0-12 months): ✓ Baby will only sleep while being held or rocked ✓ Waking every 1-2 hours throughout the night ✓ Refuses to sleep in the cot — only in your bed or contact napping ✓ Needs feeding (breast or bottle) to fall asleep and resettle ✓ Short, inconsistent naps (catnapping) ✓ Very early morning wake-ups (4-5am) ✓ Fighting bedtime every evening ✓ Sleeping well at night but struggling with daytime naps

For Toddlers & Preschoolers (1-5 years): ✓ Bedtime battles lasting 1-2 hours every night ✓ Waking multiple times and coming into your bed ✓ Refusing to sleep in their own cot or bed ✓ Only falls asleep if you stay in the room ✓ Fighting naps or dropped naps too early ✓ Night terrors or anxiety around sleep ✓ Regression after a new sibling arrives ✓ Transitions (moving from cot to bed, dropping dummy, etc.)

No matter what sleep challenge you're facing, I can help you create a sustainable solution that works for your family.

MY APPROACH

Evidence-Based, Compassionate, Personalized

My approach is built on three key principles:

1. Evidence-Based Sleep Science I use proven, research-backed methods that align with current infant sleep research, developmental psychology, and HSE safe sleep guidelines. No outdated advice or internet myths here.

2. Your Values Come First You'll never be asked to do something that doesn't feel right for you. Want to continue breastfeeding? Room-sharing? Keep the dummy? Absolutely fine. We work within YOUR comfort zone.

3. Truly Personalized Plans Every sleep plan is created specifically for your child's age, temperament, sleep history, and your family's circumstances. Cookie-cutter approaches don't work — and I don't use them.

My Methodology

I draw on multiple gentle and responsive sleep training approaches, including:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Absolutely not. You can continue breastfeeding and still achieve great sleep. We’ll create a plan that works around your feeding preferences – whether that’s breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, or anything else.

The level of crying depends entirely on the method we choose together. Some approaches involve minimal crying, others may involve some protest. We’ll discuss all options and choose what you’re comfortable with. You’re always in control.

No. Room-sharing is completely fine and actually recommended by HSE guidelines for the first 6 months. Many families continue room-sharing beyond that, and we can absolutely work within that setup.

Not necessarily. We can work with the dummy if you want to keep it, or we can create a plan to remove it if that’s your preference

Most families see significant improvements within 3-7 nights, with continued progress over 2-3 weeks. However, every child is different – some respond faster, some take longer. I’ll give you realistic expectations based on your situation.

If your child has diagnosed medical conditions (reflux, allergies, sleep apnea, etc.), I’ll work around those and coordinate with your healthcare provider. For undiagnosed concerns, I’ll recommend getting medical clearance before starting.

I work with children from newborn through to 5 years old. Each age group has different needs and approaches.

Yes! I specialize in working with spirited, strong-willed children. Toddlers require different approaches than babies, and I’m experienced with the unique challenges they present.

While I have a 100% success rate so far, “success” looks different for each family. We’ll define clear, realistic goals at the start. If we’re not making progress, we’ll adjust the approach. However, please note that sleep training requires consistency and commitment from parents – the plan only works if implemented consistently.

All services are non-refundable once your intake form is submitted and/or your sleep plan is delivered. Please review my Terms & Conditions before booking.

No, I do not provide overnight or emergency support. My standard hours are 9am-7pm Irish time, Monday-Friday. Support outside these hours depends on your package.
